What a beautiful day to remember all those who have given their lives in order that we can be free! Thank you Bentley Band for helping us to recognize these important people in our country's history.

Learning looked very different this morning without electricity. Here
are a couple pictures of some of our students reading by lantern
light. They also read “scary” stories and sang songs around a pretend
campfire, learned about the discovery of electricity, and made real
life connections with history and how things were different before
electricity was discovered. We are all very thankful electricity was
discovered! There was much celebration when it was restored....your
very flexible teachers and staff, the most!

Barhitte Families,
Please check out the flyer for summer school opportunities this year. The deadline to enroll is next week (Friday, May 23rd). There is no fee for our students to participate and transportation will be provided. Questions? Call (810) 591-9661.

BCS: power has been restored.
BCS: Estimated time for power is 6:15 PM today. Parents are welcome to pick up their children. We will not close school though because we know kids are safe and can eat here with us. Thank you.
These Kindergarteners have big plans for their future!

Families ordering trees-
There was an issue with the shipping of our trees. They will be shipped next week, and will be white pine trees! They should arrive mid-week and will be delivered to Barhitte. They should be sent home with students. If you are expecting a tree and do not have a Barhitte student, an email will be sent to you when they arrive!
