Important Changes to After-School Expectations
Dear Parents,
We are writing to address ongoing issues with students staying after school without being on a sports team. This has involved:
Loud and inappropriate language (cussing).
Unsupervised running throughout the school.
Leaving messes behind.
While the bulk of these issues involve middle school students, this also includes high school students.
Effective immediately, the only students allowed to remain in the building after the school day ends are those participating in after-school athletics: baseball, softball, track, and lifting.
For these approved students, please note the following crucial rules:
Do not open doors for anyone. This is a serious security concern and will result in school disciplinary action.
All students must remain with their coaches at all times.
Any student found wandering or not with their coach will be sent home from practice and will not be allowed to participate in the next scheduled athletic event.
