This year I am teaching all social studies classes at Bentley. These include sixth grade-World Geography, seventh grade-World History and eighth grade-US History. I have been teaching at Bentley since 2015 and I have been in education since 1999. I have taught all ages from kindergarten through eighth grade, but I especially love teaching middle school students. I love to read and run in my personal time. I also have a son who graduated from Bentley High School in 2019. I love our learning community.
I am actively involved in many extra curricular activities at Bentley such as Book Bowl, Blueberry Ambassadors and Student Council for the Middle School. Additionally, I help eighth graders develop their Educational Development Plans and I organize the Washington DC trip for seventh and eighth grades.
I have my Professional Teaching Certificate in Elementary K-5 all subjects (K-8 All Subjects Self Contained Classroom) from the University of Michigan-Flint.
