Welcome To Bentley Middle School

{Mission Statement}

Middle School is by definition a place of transition.  Students enter our halls as 5th grade children and leave us as 8th grade young adults.  It is an exciting time for all involved.  To help facilitate this growth, Bentley Middle School has an experienced and diverse staff that is dedicated to offering many opportunities for our children as they move through the grades.

With programs such as DARE and Red Ribbon Week, students can see how their choices can make a positive difference in the world around them.  Book Bowl and Athletics exercise the mind and body while teaching valuable lessons in competition, sportsmanship and discipline.  Bridges to the Future and Drama allow the creativity in children to be expressed in healthy ways.  Student Advisory Council and Honors Club develop leadership and commitment to the community that we all work and play.

Combine these after school activities with core classes, computers, technology lab, art and music, and Bentley parents can be sure that their child is getting a great well-rounded education.  To assist with any growing pains a student may have, Bentley Middle School also has on staff a counselor, speech therapist, and social worker.  These individuals work closely with teachers to make sure that accomodations are made for transitioning students.

Thank you for taking time to visit the "School in the Middle".  We hope that you will come again! Go Bulldogs!
